ARTIST
STATEMENT
My introduction into the world of fused glass started about 14 years ago when I was at a craft festival in Northern Arkansas. I was going from booth to booth when a shimmering array of color caught my eye. It was here that I purchased my first dichroic pendant and earrings. A few years later, while visiting in Hot Spring, Arkansas, I went into an art gallery, where I met a woman who not only sold her Dichroic glass creations, but also taught classes in this medium. It was through her that I took my first three classes, and my journey into glass fusing began.
Through the years I have taken many classes that have grown and stretched me as an artist. I take pride in putting my own artistic flare on all my creations, whether it be jewelry, wall or table art, garden pieces, or any other ideas that come to mind.
My goal is to present to my customers a piece that is one of a kind, unique in its beauty and creativity, and of quality that will last a lifetime. I hope you will enjoy the piece you have purchased as much as I did in the making of it.
